Can I grow strawberries in a raised bed in full sun?

You should be able to. Strawberries love hot days with lots of sunlight. In fact, you'll have trouble growing them in any other condition.

I doubt it. The sun dries them out too quickly. Heavy mulch helps. I had a few the past 3 years in the partial sun under a rose bush, in the most watered raised bed I have, and the last one appears to be dying this week. They were a novelty since production was minimal. It was fun to try.
